Verity Studios is creating a new breed of dynamic flying machines and related systems, leveraging technological innovation, scientific principles, advanced algorithms, and the art of design in unprecedented ways. Its systems are used in the live entertainment and in other industries. For example, Verity Studios flying machines are featured in PARAMOUR, the new Broadway show by Cirque du Soleil, where they perform 8 times a week, in front of a live audience of up to 2,000 people, without nets. Verity Studios is a spin-off company of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich, which is consistently ranked among the top universities in the world by all major world university rankings. Its offices are located 9 minutes from Zurich Central Station by train. Outdoor activities on lake Zurich and in the Swiss Alps are very easily accessible, as are many other destinations in Europe (e.g., France, Germany, Italy, and Austria are all within 2.5h by train from Zurich Central Station).
To support the development of exciting new flying machines at Verity Studios, we are seeking an electronics engineering intern who can help us design, develop, and characterize UAV systems and support equipment. You will have a hands-on role with a clear impact on the final product, working on concepts from whiteboard through to lab bench, and into the air.
Design and development of PCB's with digital, analog, power, sensors, and RF
Circuit design, analysis, and real-world verification - on the lab bench and in the air
Hands-on involvement in all stages of prototype and product development
Work in an early stage startup where you’ll help shape the culture and can have a huge impact
Work in an interdisciplinary, international team of highly skilled people

Hands-on experience with electronics
Successful candidates have a background in engineering with a strong academic record and a demonstrated ability to convert theory into practice
Good English skills, written and spoken
