ABB Corporate Research currently has an opening for a student in electrical engineering to join its
Power Electronic Converters Group in Baden-Dättwil as an Intern for a period of six months. We offer
a friendly, international work environment with the possibility to be part of industrial research projects.

- Assist in the design of power electronic converter systems
- Perform multi-physics simulations of individual components
- Create technical reports and present your results to experts in power electronics
- Make video tutorials to help people understand the intricacies of your work, use it and even develop it further in the

- Bachelor or master student in electrical engineering or related fields (official enrollment is essential)
- Good knowledge in power electronics (basic topologies, semiconductors, capacitor banks, cooling and magnetics)
- Experience with circuit simulators and Finite Element Method (FEM) tools is a plus
- Intermediate to advanced MATLAB programming skills, a plus is your experience with C/C++ and Java
- Creative and artistic mindset for making videos
- Fluent command of English
