Sevensense is committed to helping industries achieve new levels of efficiency and unlock
novel applications by pushing the frontiers of mobile robotics. Equipped with our
technology, robots can safely and autonomously navigate in dynamic indoor and outdoor
environments such as airports, supermarkets, warehouses and train stations. The
Sevensense core technology is based on computer vision and AI techniques, originating
from 10+ years of research at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, ETH Zurich. We
develop and deliver both software and hardware, providing a complete solution to the
autonomous robot navigation problem.
Sevensense is growing rapidly and very proud to progressively develop new partnerships
and projects. In order to keep up the pace with this increased interest in our company, we
are looking for a motivated student to join us and participate in the development of our
visual-inertial sensors. One of your main responsibility will be the assembly, calibration and
testing of such sensors. With this contribution, you will be an important part of our team
and help us transform the Sevensense core technology into its first generation of products.

Responsibilities
● Assembly and testing of visual-inertial sensors
● Setup of both standard computers and FPGAs
● Intrinsic and extrinsic calibration of visual inertial sensors
● Ordering of components to ensure interrupt free availability of our sensors

 

Qualifications
● Team player excited about working in a dynamic startup environment
● Good grades and strong analytical skills
● Fascination for robots and interest to develop new skills
● Hands-on experience with electronics and knowing German is a plus
