SYSTEMS AND CONTROLS INTERNSHIP

Verity Studios delivers ground-breaking drone show systems that are purpose-built for the live entertainment and events

industry. Its show drones have been featured in a variety of live events, including PARAMOUR, the Broadway show by

Cirque du Soleil, Metallica’s current arena tour, and at every New York Knicks pre-game show at Madison Square Garden.

The unique performance capabilities of show drones provide a stunning complement to the traditional palette of light,

sound, stage effects, and human performance. We are excited about using technology to transform live entertainment and

other industries, and we are growing our team.

Internships may begin at any time during the year. Interns are expected to join the team for a minimum of six months

 

YOUR TASKS

• Develop, implement, and maintain control, estimation and learning algorithms for our autonomous flying

• ma-chines

• Contribute to the development of automated testing and safety procedures

• Development, refinement, and testing of algorithms and tools that allow operating hundreds of drones at a time

• Run performance evaluation tests of flying machines to verify flight capabilities

 

PREREQUISITES

• Background in mechanical engineering, robotics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related field with a strong academic record

• Good C++ and Python / Matlab knowledge

• Strong control background

• Precise and thorough way of working

• Good English skills, written and spoken
